Public Forum on New LGBT Protections in Housing (West Cook County)

Please join us at the Maze Branch of the Oak Park Public Library on Thursday, April 26th 2012. The Housing Center will be presenting a forum on new housing protections for the LGBT community. HUD has added new regulations that forbid sexual orientation and gender identity discrimination for housing that has any federal funding support. And, Senator Kerry has proposed an amendment to the Fair Housing Act to include sexual orientation as a protected class. Read more »
